The Silver Valley High School Cross Country Team will be participating in the upcoming CIF Cross-Country Events. Below are the details for each stage of the competition:
CIF Preliminary Race
* Date & Time: The race will begin at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
* Arrival Time: The team must arrive at the field one hour before the race start time.
* Travel Arrangements: Due to the distance from Fort Irwin, the team will depart on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., and stay overnight in a local hotel.
This allows for proper rest and ensures early arrival. The team will return to Silver Valley High School after the meet concludes on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
CIF Finals (if the team advances)
* Date & Time: The finals will be held in Walnut, CA, on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
* Travel Arrangements: Similar to the preliminaries, the team will depart on Friday, November 22, 2024, and stay in a local hotel, returning to Silver Valley High School after the meet on Saturday, November 23, 2024.
CIF State Finals (if the team advances)
* Date & Time: The state finals will take place in Fresno, CA, on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.
* Travel Arrangements: The team will leave on Friday, November 29, 2024, and stay overnight in a hotel, returning after the meet on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
Team Details:
Participants: 14 students.
Chaperones: 2 adults.
Transportation: The team will travel using a district vehicle. |
