April 2025 is recognized as Public Schools Month, an observance sponsored by the Free and Accepted Masons of California since 1920. Public Schools Month encourages communities and educational institutions to acknowledge the dedication and efforts of teachers, administrators, and students within the public school system.
Public schools play a critical role in shaping America's future by providing strong instructional programs that prepare students for productive lives and careers. They also foster a love of freedom and an appreciation for the benefits of living in a democratic society. This resolution reaffirms our commitment to supporting public education and recognizing its impact on our communities.
