Summary:
|
As part of ongoing maintenance for kitchen hood fire suppression systems, the following work will be completed at these sites:
* Silver Valley High School: The current fire suppression system is outdated and non-compliant. It will be removed and replaced with a new, compliant Ansul Fire System.
* Lewis Elementary School: Three non-compliant Ansul chemical tanks will be replaced with new tanks, along with all supporting hardware. The hydrostatic test date on the existing tanks has expired.
* Tiefort Intermediate School: Two non-compliant Ansul chemical tanks will be replaced with new tanks, along with all supporting hardware. The hydrostatic test date on the existing tanks has expired.
