Summary:
|
School administrators, both certificated and classified, collaborate as a team to ensure that effective and innovative classroom instruction is fostered in every school. Leadership is crucial for California's public school system, and these leaders deserve recognition for the significant contributions and services they provide to our schools.
Many factors contribute to a great school—quality teachers, supportive parents, and strong community partnerships are just a few. But great schools are also defined by great principals, and great districts by outstanding superintendents. These leaders are supported by extensive administrative networks, including special education and adult education leaders, curriculum experts, school business officials, and classified educational leaders, among many others.
Recognizing that the future of California's public education system hinges on the quality of its leadership, the state of California declares October 13–19, 2024, as the Week of the School Administrator.
